Appease Putin and get more of the same down the line.
There has to be consequences for wars of aggression.

Making it up as they go along assumes that they had a choice of whether Russia invaded its neighbour; You erroneously assume the US is an omnipotent force
that should be blamed for actions far removed from its control.

It is Putin's finger on the trigger.
You cannot contribute anything of value unless you accept Russia's responsibility.

1. The war was necessary to figure out how much territory Ukraine would lose.
2. This post is wrongly assuming that Russia's only reason to wage this war was a landgrab, when it's fairly obvious that political considerations were a major factor in Putin pulling the trigger. If Ukraine had ceded roughly the territory currently held by the Russians, would Putin have accepted the rest of Ukraine to be fully independent and sovereign, allowed them to join the EU and potentially even NATO[1]? HIGHLY doubtful...

[1] Ongoing military conflict makes NATO accession impossible, so Ukraine would not have been eligibile before Feb22 due to the ongoing, frozen conflict in the Donbass. In this scenario (shedding their southeathern territories), however, they would no longer be embroiled in ongoing wars and thus able to join NATO.

Largest series of Russian missile attacks in months has been going on today
https://twitter.com/Teoyaomiquu/status/1740627375048773654
https://twitter.com/OstapYarysh/status/1740630326777651393

Strikes reported all over Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, etc
That first clip looks like they might have had a partially unsuccessful interception since the missile is flaming midair but still impacts a building with a big explosion
As usual the numbers are completely unreliable and there's no real source on how many got shot down or got through but UA sources saying 22 missiles hit Kharkiv alone

Ukraine has destroyed 20% of the Russian Black Sea fleet in the past four months. Amazing accomplishment from a country without a Navy.

"During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ship was scuttled in Mykolaiv. On 3 March 2022, a photo emerged showing Hetman Sahaidachny partially sunk and with a list to port."

Tell me you can't win the conventional war on the battlefield without telling me you can't win the conventional war on the battlefield.

Is this what de-nazifying looks like? Launching strikes on residential buildings?
