Ukrainian sources have claimed a lot of things through out the war. If 3 of them were shot down surely at least wreckage footage of at least one is available for verification.

They shot down old tech.

There is footage of pilot gear on the ground, like breathing appartus and parachute that I have seen and allegedly Russian sources admitting that it happened.

It is all alleged but there is no smoke without fire.

None of that equates to the Russian miltary has achieved an outright victory. Almost two years into what was supposed to take days.

I will make several points, make of them what you wish.

The war is not over.
Russia has the strategic initiative after Ukraines counteroffensive has ended.
In an attritional battle, Russia will always have an advantage of scale and manpower.
In a war of large scale manoeuvre Russia has failed to show it can achieve a decisive victory.
For this compare desert storm with Russias initial invasion and in particular the exposed columns of armor at a standstill without fuel or sufficient logistics.

Any pledge of future aid takes weeks if not months to manifest in actual miltary equipment.
Think tanks. They were pledged months ago. We haven't seen any Abrams on the battlefield yet. Although that does not mean Ukraine does not have them and is intentionally ambiguous iguous about there deployment.
Think of F-16s. Pledged many months ago and yet to be deployed.

So to say that because the Congress blocked future funding to Ukraine the war is somehow immediately over is fallacious.

Does it mean that Ukraine could face shortages in the medium term? Absolutely.
Does it mean that unless European countries step up that Ukraine inevitably would not be able to continue the same level of operations? Absolutely.

Money pledged in Washington doesn't appear as military equipment in Kiev the next day.
That's not how this works. And it is infantile to suggest otherwise.
