When the mainstream media starts turning on you its a sign of things to come. They do this to provide a soft landing to the nafo sisters because their mental state is extremely fragile. They will not want to accept the reality staring at them in the face but rest assured, they will accept the new marching orders and start rationalizing why Ukraine won the moral victory

Ya like the Russians released a bunch of murderers to fill their ranks. Pretty sure a bunch of idiot dictators and emperors have tried that throughout history. Hasn’t ever worked out so maybe first time for everything. But I doubt it

Took five minutes for some to join the march :)

As a Russian, do you regard 300k casualties was worth 19% of Ukrainian territory? Technically less since Crimea + Donbass is included there.

Considering this is probably double the amount of US soldiers lost in every war since WW2 combined.

As a non Russian I view russia as an emerging superpower that just took on the entirety of the west's arsenal and military toys and is still winning. This is the greatest middle finger the west has ever received and I'm glad Ivan's the one doing it.

It now has all of Ukraine to use as a testing center for its armed forces and latest military tech. Meanwhile Europe is more dependent than ever for American energy and American military hardware. Uncle Sam wins, Russia wins, Ukraine gets forgotten in the dustbin of history

You realise that the West sent a fraction of its capabilities and Russia is still floundering to take more than 15% of Ukraines territory?
I mean you can use whatever framing you like but its been a military disaster for Russia.

You mean Russia is using North Korean ammunition and Iranian drones? Hardly a testing centre for Russian hardware.
Russia's arm sales have never been lower in its existence.

No one wins in wars genius. And I think history will be different than your strange visions. Visions that are already in the dustbin of history

Not really hard to frame it otherwise
The US and EU threw our military might behind Ukraine and gave them a blank check for weapons. We declared we wouldn't let Putin win, and would do whatever it takes to stop him, and would accept nothing short of all pre-2014 territory coming under Zelensky's control. After 2 years the result has been that Russia has seized all the ethnic russian oblasts, the most populous and resource rich parts of the country save Odessa, they've fortified their lines and completely repulsed a counteroffensive, and the west has been left with control over a bombed out shell of a western Ukraine, the poorer and weaker half of the poorest and weakest country in Europe. Russia has taken losses that aren't even a blip on its historical bounce-backs, but western Ukraine has been depopulated and has almost no young men left. Russia is using the stalemate to rebuild infrastructure in the territories its conquered at rapid pace, meanwhile western Ukraine is teetering on the verge of implosion and maybe even another coup if western backing can't stabilize it in time.

I mean, right now Zelensky is begging for the US to keep him in power and Russia is replacing heat and water utilities for central Mariupol and constructing hundreds of single family homes. We're losing this war

A fraction of their military capacity. A literal drop in the ocean.

“We’re”? As if you are doing anything to help the Ukrainian people directly…. And everyone loses in war. But then again you do believe some pretty incredibly stupid shit so I’ll give you a pass on your pessimistic pep talk. You are forgiven for not knowing what you’re talking about
