My partner at work got the rona like two days after the vaccine. She was like fuck i was so close lol. I'm on double duty until she back. Case management, utilization review, and discharge planning overlord lol. I'm so wiped from this week.

I hit the jackpot with the doc I've had for the past 18 months. He does a lot of the heavy lifting with me on family calls and meetings. For my part i do my best not to bother him with bullshit and try to solve everything i can within my mid level scope of practice. But he spends a lot of time on his patients and is super collaborative.

It really makes a difference.

Because dying is not the only way COVID can fuck you up. There will be far more people with long term problems as a result of surviving COVID than will be people who die from it. And the deaths still VASTLY outnumber those from influenza.
