Taking zinc + vit D in preventive would surely helps better than HCQ too. vit D is vastly underestimated and 75% of europeans lack it.
The data on ivermectin is also way more in favor of it than HCQ.
Although it is more than possible that there is a crossed immunity between covid and paludism, it still doesnt make HCQ the best treatment for covid to me, taking it early is certainly not bad but don't expect miracles.

I'm not trying to say HcQ is the best treatment for covid or anything like that , I'm simply making the case that there IS a treatment, and it IS effective. In fact, there is more than 1 treatment, as you pointed out.
An Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) would not have been granted if there was an effective treatment available, unless the treatments were censored.

also, america's - or more specifically red state's numbers, like florida's are dodgy as well. not the way you're suggesting, that is fake news, but in that they did everything to UNDERreport their cases, even arrested a whistleblower for disclosing their methods. all that said, china is florida on steroids - they only admit what they have to, and there's basically no transparency whatsoever.
