Hey, how's the nothingburger panning out?

Big Benghazi sandwich here it seems.
Political issue kept alive for the sake of fundraising.
Comparing it to Benghazi is utterly ridiculous... I assume you don't even follow the story.
Here's a quick refresher course:

I feel sorry for Trump cultists and radical contrarians like Greenwald who developed an opinion on Russian interference and Trump campaign involvement 2-3 years ago, and don't seem to care about any evidence that comes out.
I think Glenn has finally accepted that Russians interfered... it only took him 2 years longer than everyone else(just being skeptical maaaan, the gubment lies). But he's still hyperskeptical of Russiagate, even though the goalposts 2 years ago were "no contacts, no business, nothing at all", and now we have Flynn lying about a conversation on sanctions with the Russian ambassador, Don Jr. seeking dirt from the Russian government on Hillary in emails, Kushner trying to set up a secret backchannel communication with Russia during transition, Cohen with Trump's knowledge trying to reach out to Putin to strike a lucrative Moscow Tower deal, Papadopoulos meeting with Russian cutouts during the campaign who told him of hacked emails, Trump campaign employing a guy who was surveilled by the FBI in 2014 for talking to Russian spies, Stone communicating with Wikileaks and Guccifer 2.0 during campaign, Manafort owing tens of millions to a Russian oligarch, and apparently sharing complex polling data with a GRU-connected Russian during the campaign, etc etc.
And "rational" people are supposed to look at all that evidence and shrug their shoulders? No thanks. Whether definitive evidence of collusion is revealed or not, you either have to be a Trump hack and/or a complete idiot to think that is not suspicious.
There's this silly narrative on the right that if Mueller doesn't come out with sweeping conspiracy indictments, Russiagate was a nothingburger. In any normal political situation where Republican voters and politicians weren't part of a cult, the evidence we've seen so far would be a huge political scandal, and at the least would result in impeachment of the president. The president's son literally tried to conspire with the Russian government during the campaign.
