They may not care about you saying you are left or right but if you started spreading communist ideology and organizing people you might experience a different response, just as an example, obviously it would vary depending on the country but I don't think absolute freedom of speech exists anywhere really. Doesn't mean it isn't something to strive for but i think it runs contrary to human nature in a lot of instances.

for sure, if i am like "i am a foreigner and i wanna organise a communist rainbow march", the backlash will be severe
but that goes beyond the term "speech" anyway
and thats okay (political activities should be illegal for foreigners), but the thought crime bullshit and cancel culture just dont exist, nobody cares
