Russia has already won the war. Ukraine will likely lose statehood and become a province of Russia - we could see Kiev being renamed Putingrad
The recent Nazi debacle at the hands of Trudeau & Zelenskyy has put the final nail in the coffin. It is now beyond a reasonable doubt that Ukraine is a Nazi-sympathizing & supporting state.
Woke governments are collapsing. Any pro-Ukraine sentiments are purely copium at this point
Hyperbolic take, but the writing is on the wall, Ukraine won't be able to re-take most of it's territories. They will eventually sign some peace agreement where they will get back Kherson and Zap (Russia already basically said they'd be willing to give them back) while Donbass and Crimea will remain Russian. The country will require a ton of financial help and support, which naturally the EU will be left holding the bag (mostly Germany and the other rich EU nations). There's going to be a lot of internal strife and finger pointing. It's difficult to know what Ukraine will look like in 10, 20 years but optimistically, they get admitted into EU, EU basically subsidizes them for many years and they start to resemble something like the Baltic states, eventually contributing with their grain & crop exports. I could see some friction with countries like Poland and other heavy food exporters in the surrounding as they would want to gobble up market share post the war.
The longer they delay this outcome the, the more people will die needlessly, the more people will continue to get out of the country, further constraining any hope to successfully & speedily getting back on track. War is not an option long term and they are already reaching the point of military exhaustion.
