In the free world society a schoolar will never go in jail for his knowledge or because he/she condemned the local governement. This is just impossible.
You will never find an equivalent. In Russia or China, however...

You forgot to quote the link about France.

In France you call them radical jihadists and bomb the shit out of them with Mirage bombers.

That’s why China is trying to find a non-violent way to integrate them into Greater China, by forcibly integrating / assimilating them stripping them of religion to hopefully stem radical islamism.
