Yup, I did. But I did it out of passion instead of pragmatism. Should have worked as a banker or trader instead. I switch career pretty late, but now is much better.



As above, as long as it is not gender studies degree and you show extreme passion and love for the product you like and you really study it.
Knowledge is key, it takes years of tasting, drinking and sharing with fellow enthusiast.
Meet people , meet industry people. Or you can start by working in F&B but specifically high end establishments.
Switch to distribution after 2 or 3 years.

It is a tough and mostly unrewarding job.

It is. The effect is likely symbolic more than any significant personal damage. If the military HQ's can be hit then anywhere can be hit and air defence is clearly not functioning properly.

Also embarrassing for anyone that boasted Ukraine's air force had been destroyed; Considering Storm Shadow is an air launched platform.

Russia apparently to raise its military spend from under 4% to 6% in 2024.

No way to know if this would be maintained if the war ended, but at this point it’s pretty obvious they are on war footing and will have a ton of funding to pump modern equipment replacing the old stuff that gets burned in Ukraine.

I already said this, this whole thing may backfire on the west in astounding fashion with Russia more militarized and a much more modern and experienced military.
