Do you know that the Russian government denies these historical events? If you didnt, now you know. Though your jab about American slavery is amusing slightly. At least the majority of Americans and our government acknowledge our historical wrongdoings. Russian deny that they ever did anything wrong. There are no more Kereks because of Russia. So how about that?

Do you know the Japanese government deny their atrocities to their citizens and call it an unfortunate event in regards to Korea, China and South East Asia? Do you know the American government although they recognize the atrocities ofthe Japanese, have always played down the events especially via official government mouth piece unlike the way they keep reminding the world about Germans and Nazis?

I mean shit happens man, everyone is denying everything or helping everyone to water down everything.

Russia has a fair amount of indigenous people, various people's in the south and caucus area which ethnically do not look like typical Slav Russians and many of whom are Muslim, east Asian features Buryatians near Mongolian border, Chuchki which are eskimo-esque people, these are just a few with very distinct 'other' ethnic features. Many of these are alive and striving today, and because Russia is so vast many of these old cultures remain alive, there's a ton of documentaries on some of them you can check out.

If you said was true, these three group I mentioned would be prime candidates to be genocided, so why haven't they been?

Have you considered for a second that many ingenious groups simply get assimilated by dominant cultures? Look at how many different tribes we had here in the US and how many are left, overwhelming majority of those are gone, so are their languages, and whatever bloodlines were folded into the dominant culture.

The thing is that the Germans are at least apologetic. Ever been to a holocaust museum in Berlin?? They want you to know they are fucking sorry. And they want to make up for it by educating people about the HISTORY of how the centuries of antisemitism in Europe, and eventually around the world, finally culminated with the atrocities committed in ww2.

The American government is pretty good about acknowledgment but we have our fair share of denialists and degenerates. I . Look the Japanese still visit their war criminal graves and gives respect. There are heaps of Korean, Chinese , South East Asian politicians who still make a huge deal out of it. Most of us normal people just let bygones be bygones and move on.
