Too lazy to make a thread figured i'd dump this here. Someone should though, IMO this is the next powder keg and it's kind of a big deal as it could drag in a lot of big players (Iran, Turkey, Russia)

It's been cooking there for a while. Yerevan is turning away from its traditional security guarantor Russia. RF troops were unable to secure an important humanitarian corridor in the region.
Likely a consequence of Russias military being caught I'm a bear trap elsewhere.

Russia does not have the appetite to intervene, so it's plausible the Azeris are taking advantage of this and trying to finally take hold of Nagorno-Karabakh. It's important to note Russia basically kept the Azeris at bay for the last 20 years or so. Now that they are embroiled in a large scale war in Ukraine, Azeris probably feel like the time is ripe.
