How would any journalist, real or fake, have insight into a 3 AM shake down to have camera and crew ready?

The riot gear is overblown. Supposedly CNN was covering a story nearby and just stumbled upon the scene.

I wouldn't have been surprised if CNN had set up a permanent monitoring of Stone's residence for the past 6 months

I saw some on twitter making the same points yesterday. I'm honestly surprised it was only CNN there. Also, the raid happened around 6 AM I believe.



It's not riot gear, but I agree. Contrary to Trump world, I've opposed these excessive shows of force before rich white guys started experiencing them.

I haven't heard that claim about CNN.

so the Trump orbit reached out to a known Russian entity to try and coordinate information relay, but was shut down. and since they didnt get the info they're guilty of nothing resembling collusion?

i guess im just the kind of guy who thinks Mens Rea matters more than hindsight judgement of how much info they got. How many times did we hear "no one in my campaign had anything to do with Russia" early in the russiagate talks in an attempt to shut down the investigation as a witch hunt? all lies. unless you're a sucker enough to believe they all acted independently without Don ever hearing a word of it, but i wasn't born last night.
