Ah interesting, I saw a few things about it possibly being used for something like that

I just can't believe how many people are going with the tire thing, CNN and Forbes both have an article on it.

This one is can easily be spotted with algorithms running on a smartphone. Tires are much better in disturbing the analysis but they are grilling the whole plane on IR recognition (since they stack heat) ...

Its about heat signatures and trying to fool drone operators or drone AI, not a traditional visual camouflage.

Its just en'tire'ly funny that comrades are losing their minds over denying it :lol:

It's probably less "bright" and clear on IR but the heat stays longer and circles like that are quite a unique pattern.
In the same category: Mines which can be identified by IR at dawn (or when the night starts)
