I'm sure we are underestimating the cost of covid infections, we're basically throwing billions of $ worth in marketing, billions $ worth a day testing asymptomatic. Cancelling scientific reasoning, scientists and scholars. Everywhere you go there is always a reminder that we're in a pandemic because a cucumber is wearing a muzzle. I'm sure we underestimated the biggest hysteria attack of the history of the world

I know 4 people that had covid, they're laughing at it.
my best friend however says it's no joke cos he was in bed for a week with a high temperature. that was last year, he's all g now and has no side effects of course.

being afraid of picking up covid kinda proves they did a good job on TV.


btw part of conspiracy theory was that once majority of people gets vaccinated, suddenly there will be a new variant which will require vaccine boosters.

0.001% of scientists: Covid is not serious it's a hoax and I'm basing this on absolutely nothing.

Yeah that's why the most recent news says all vaccines are currently good against all variants, and there's no evidence of needing a booster.

and that's probably also why we had significant variants way before the vaccines were ever introduced.

germany is taking signups for a 3rd shot aka booster shot for delta variant and so are UK and Ireland.

Germany wants to start rolling Pfizer vaccines for young people, claiming they're safest and Astra should be avoided due to blood cloths which are more common at young people using Astra.
Ireland wants to start rolling Astra vaccines for young people, claiming they're safest for young people.

2 countries which are part of EU, which representatives are present on all medical meetings, are contradicting eachother both claiming they're right while saying different things.

Sounds like the experts will have to look at the studies each are making their recommendations based on and come to a consensus.

Science is hard, legitimate disagreements can happen. Those disagreements tend to be over minutae in the data, because the big questions like "is this happening" get resolved quickly.

I want you to let that sink in, 100 a day. A factor of 40 fewer than the daily new cases before the vaccine was introduced. Doesn't sound contradictory at all. They're being cautious, probably too cautious, about a spike of cases that amounts to a few hundred a day.

Ofc I am vaccinated, and it helps alot, thus some people around got sick or even died and honestly it's just stupid to go yolo on COVID.
Also: people who had it already are catching it AGAIN with that new Delta variant shit AND i think the most important: smell and taste loss that is really super bad.
