Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!

There's probably another month maybe two of weather where you can move effectively, afterwards activity is going to slow down. They're not getting to Tokmak this year at the current pace in my opinion. Who knows maybe they throw huge numbers in though.

I wonder why Ukraine seems so hell-bent on threatening Crimea first before taking back the land bridge between the Donbass and Crimea. Like I've said repeatedly, Crimea is imho a red line for Russia. If there's one thing that could propel Russia into a general mobilization and an all-out wartime economy, it imho is the prospect of losing Crimea. On top of that, Crimea is probably the single-most pro-Russian place in all of Ukraine. If there's one region where pro-Russia sentiment is genuine and dominant, it's there.

If this projected offense toward Crimea isn't a ruse, it imho is a bad strategic mistake.

Supply routes make it way easier to understand.

How exactly? The Dnieper river and the Crimean channel are huge natural obstacles standing between Ukraine's forces and Crimea and would make a retreat dicey in case the offense fails. And the land connection between mainland Ukraine and Crimea is a massive choke point.

well it certainly is now, after years of systematic russification, trying to alter the ethnic and demographic composition of the peninsula through resettlement and persecution. doesn't make it russian though. i know you're not saying that, just trying to inb4 the kremlin bots trying to suggest that pootin's invasion and occupation was somehow justified because of it.

I guess it will be a big shock when they will completely destroy the "illegal" Crimean Bridge. Explaining how getting to the south is important.
They don't even need to reach the azov sea coast first, btw they need like 10-15 more km to be in shell range of supply routes.

Lol don't listen to grass roots conversations that tell what the spirit and feel of the real conversations are, here is some curated MSM telling you what to think! This is what's important and a true representation of reality!

You're really ignorant of the shift of where true conversation is had, hint: it's not in the mainstream, that's why tens of millions are tuning out with rating collapsing.

Why are you so bothered that I shared what a prominent Polish account posted? We're having a conversation about Prigozhin and they exemplify what the typical anti-Russian online personality looks like. Which is essentially in this case was hoping Prigozhin would collapse Russia months ago with his coup and now are highlighting how he was loved by the people and hinting towards second coup. If you're bothered by this representation don't cry to me about it because I don't care. I don't support the war and i'm sharing an opinion, yet you're up at like 4am bothered about it

He failed to mediate those differences the day Prigozhin tried to lead a coup. The survival of Prigozhin after the coup failed was trumpeted in Western media as proof of Putin's increasingly weak grip on power. The question is not whether the coup and aftermath was bad for Putin, it most assuredly was , it's a question of whether letting Prigozhin live was better than having him killed. Killing him was clearly the preferred outcome.

He didn't manage to resolve the problems between Prigozhin and Shoigu, representing the regular army faction. Now it's resolved, but the opposing force has also been revealed to the public.

I guess you are trying to trigger people with these two horrible false statements. Congratulations.

- Revolution & parliament vote against traitor president is not a "coup"
- Russia is more "nazi" than Ukraine and russification, ruscism, aren't a culture.
