I suppose it depends on how much you value another country's sovereignty. Yes, China is deplorable and we should do what we can to ensure they don't commit a long term genocide but they haven't done a similar amount of damage to another country. Russia, on the other hand, spawned one of the largest refugee crises in the world, committed (and continue to do so) dozens of war crimes, and likely killed at least 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers. In addition, they've caused hundreds of millions of billions of dollars worth of damage and their actions could cause hundreds of millions of people to starve within the next year. I guess we can reevaluate once the war is over, but right now, I think Russia is worse simply due to the fact that I value international order.
I would say it's really hard to compare Russia and China in this regard because their approaches are so different.
Russia tries to break down the international order via crude force.
China tries to subvert the international order and change it for their own benefit ; unlike the Russians, they aren't crude, they're patient and think in decades.
