So then we agree? What was all the kicking and screaming about?
This parsing Russia's actions as justified because other wars have occurred is pathetic; Your not the first and won't likely be the last to try and justify Putin's actions this way.

If you apply the United Nations criteria to what Russia is doing in Ukraine, it is fair and balanced to accept their actions are intended genocide.
Is that not the case?

"A physical element, which includes the following five acts, enumerated exhaustively:
Killing members of the group - Yes
Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group - Yes
Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part - Yes
Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group - Not provenForcibly transferring children of the group to another group" - Yes"

Is that not the case?

You're completely missing the point. It's not about justifying their actions it's about exposing your hypocrisy. The same people that have funded and pushed for this war in the west are the same ones that invaded Iraq, the same ones responsible for at least 3 other wars in the last 20 years. Hundreds of thousands dead, but no this time it's completely different! Thing is, none of these wars are genocides and you keep evading my questions on Iraq because it completely exposes your simple minded double standards here.

^ofthevoid Is that not the case? After saying I was dodging your roundabout questions, your awfully quiet.

No one is dodging you lmao, was away, I don't sit here refreshing every 30 seconds for your comebacks.

I think the real reason the US invaded Iraq was to get rid of Saddam who was a murderous dictator. There's a moral case for that but it's flimsy because you can say alot of people are murderous dictators though it's not much of a legitimate casus belli. So the WMD bullshit covered their tracks

It was ultimately about oil and Saddam has always been a thorn not behaving how we want him to. We don't actually care about murderous regimes, we only care about ones that are geopolitically against us. I mean look at Saudi Arabia's war in Yemen. We not only didn't care, but actually sold them billions of weapons to and supported it.

Facts can be hard I guess. If you want to refute any of the facts I provided go ahead and provide a source. I can provide sources for everything I just said. If you want to deflect, feel free to post again but try to keep it on topic, i.e. not related Chinese oil or Chinese employment rates (which again, are off topic). For my part I was tired of listening to people ignoring atrocities committed elsewhere by the same people that are funding this war, hence I deflected, while remaining on topic, talking instead about F16's. I could not stomach the hypocrisy.

Although the esteemed French debater is an expert in ACE Combat series. Let me ask my school mate who was in SAF and who actually flew the F 16s what he thinks.

Furthermore USA should be giving A 10s instead of F 16s.

Russia’s lander experiences ‘emergency situation’ while approaching lunar surface.

=> it probably collided with one of the many Russian army T-90 turrets launched from Ukrainian territory over the last year.

Hmm yes I agree with this. Saddam was a good pretext for invasion, but they needed even more to have deniability of hypocrisy. So they added the WMDs as a second pretext

The USSR broke up and literally became a mafia state. You have no idea what your talking about man; Your bias is permanently showing.

Facts are too much for this juvenile to understand. Maybe when he grows up.

Splitting is a psychological distress trait, like saying that if less than xx% of the population is educated then "democracy cannot work" or that "riches are ruling":

- Democracies aren't perfect but it's the best solution we have atm
- Undemocratic regimes have been proven to be vastly flawed

- Cherry pickup doesn't work
- Gulag

No it isn't. All government systems have been showed to be deeply flawed, democracy included. The US is the exact opposite of what the founding fathers intended it to be due to the failures of democracy. All forms of government work to some degree but none of them are sustainable and all are corrupt.

I think what a lot of people do not understand is Democracy is a lot more harder to fix when it decays .

Monarchy is the most stable system by the objective facts of history, though there is still corruption present (corruption can be remedied in monarchies through the influence of the court & royal family)

This is true but it's also the case that the majority of time monarchy was stable was a time when social pressures were weaker and technological progress that contributed to those pressures was effectively non-existent. I don't think monarchy has really been tested in modern society. It may be that it would remain a stable option. I have no facts to say otherwise, just doubts.
