Again, the writers of Spiderman claim the story they have written is fake, so why at any point would we ever use this as a comparison to a collection of books/writers/authors that all collectively speak to the truth of Jesus and his ressurection?

I would say I have above average understanding of the bible. But that would be an argument from authority. I am more about asking questions whether the questions come from me personally or raised by others should be of no concern.
So far they have been met with faulty logic and lies. And no reliable proof has been demonstrated by the christian apologists.

this is definitely true, which why I find it important to justify our own worldviews first. everyone has their own commitments to their own worldview, and in order to see who is correct their worldview must be able to be justified, internally coherent and have explanatory power. it's why my entire focus is having people explain their worldview and show how it accounts for such things as universals, the possibility of knowledge etc, and if their own worldview is well justified it should show the Christian worldview is wrong by the impossibility of the contrary.

It goes along the lines of you are free to make whatever claim you want but you had better be prepared to back it up when challenged on it.

I first challenged it by explaining Hippos aren't native to New Zealand. I already explained why I say New Zealand based on your local timezone being 2 hours ahead of mine. Since I am already so far ahead of many people in terms of time, if anyone is ahead of me then that really narrows it down to a fare few. The most logical place is New Zealand. If not then a tiny Island above New Zealand called Fiji or the East most side of Russia.

Then you decided to push the matter further so then I challenged by explaining that a hippo sighting would not only be strange but also very dangerous and so you should call the authorities and let them find it and deal with it. If you know what you saw then you would have no problem calling the local authorities. Since the news like interesting stories to boost the ratings that would no doubt be a notable event for them to tell. It all comes down to whether or not you made that phone call and they did find this talking hippo. I asked whether you did and you avoided the question so you mustn't have made that call.

My methodology involves challenging the claims to see if they hold up to scrutiny. What happens if I do all that but the claim does hold up in the end?

You are twisting my words I said you don't get to "assume" based on your method. You can decide based on facts NOT assumptions.

I have told you repeatedly that location has absolutely no bearing on this story whatsoever. Yet you are intentionally assuming that it does. Trying to be difficult and bad sport for a simple thought excersise.
Let me walk you through the error in your thinking.

- Firstly you assume I am from country x based on post times. You are merely guessing here as I could be a night owl or a very early morning riser like Mark Walberg for instance. You are assuming that I follow same morning routine as you smh.

- Secondly you are assuming that in order for a talking, walking hippo I described to be real a country MUST have ordinary hippos. Describe to me how that follows? That could've been the only hippo in that country you don't get to rule out the possibility of one. For example pandas were considered rumors until one was found after decades of searching.

- Thirdly location is not important otherwise you would have to dismiss Noah gathering Polar Bears and kangaroos on the same basis. So forget wherever you imagine I might be from and focus on the story instead.

- Fourthly this is a non interactive claim you do not get any additional information. Can you call upon Tacitus and challenge his claims? Can you write an email to jesus to confirm if he is serious about being god? Are any of the so called witnesses from the bible available for interrogation?

‐ Lasty you are assuming that if a story not on the news its not true. What if I did't want the attention, what if I did go to the news and they turned me down have you considered dozens of possibilities?
