How do you know?

you ever been to a target?
that's the opposite of how their policies work, they'd get fired for refusing to sell milk to someone

K, so you don't have a reason, you just assume that it's not true.

Thanks for the link ^_^

Thank Goom, he's the one who found it. I'm just happy to keep everyone else as miserable as I am.

This entire situation has nothing to do with protests. What they're hitting and how they're hitting it has nothing to do with protests. Nothing to do with challenging authority. They're targeting the defenseless, and refusing to directly engage "The Man" aka the police.

It's just looting bullshit.

I see a rumor that's been spread multiple times by social media accounts with no source, and flies in the face of normal policy.
The target near the 3rd precinct was evacuated as the looting commenced, so who would be around to make sales? How would anyone spread such a story in the first place? If people were sharing that argument at the time, it would have shown up on streams or social media. Instead it magically appeared a few hours ago as some twitter users rationalized it and tried to make excuses, with no source

its obvious bullshit.

I don't think it's that they were refusing to sell those specific things, but that they weren't letting anyone in at all.

That sounds more reasonable. Because refusal of sale of anything other than state-controlled items (pharmaceuticals, tobacco, alcohol, firearms/ammo) is a termination offense as a standard policy of all corporate retail.

Doesn't matter who the customer is.

So they are looting a business that wouldn't let people in during a protest to punish that business for not letting people in?

Prediction: Assuming businesses rebuild in the area to begin with: Bars will be installed in all buildings period. It will turn into another ghetto. "You may burn us out, but you won't get in otherwise."

I guess the video I saw of multiple people at target attempting to smash open cash registers with hammers must’ve been looking for that milk
