I personally think someone like Cuomo would fair much better. Strategy of focusing on Covid and maybe painting Trump as a failure while contrasting it with someone like Cuomo to me is a better strategy than trying to contort reality to make it work for Joe. Cuomo is a snake but he at least he can hold a news conference without sounding like he needs Alzheimer meds.

This woman's argument is something that the vast majority of Trump supporters don't make. Most of you guys don't say "yeah, he's terrible, incompetent, etc, but *insert desired policy outcomes*". It's dubious rationalizations, whataboutism, etc.

Sure, occasionally you might mumble something truthful about what an idiot he is. But the vast majority of the time it's just dishonest spin... seeing the world through orange colored glasses to justify your support of him.
