It's like begging for some kind of geopolitical suicide without any guarantee while western EU, & even US, are already not "over he top" regarding global dominance.
Imho above all it's a call for genocide level crime against Ukrainians. Putin reached the backpoint since a while already, a big mistake because without these crimes the popular opinion in Europe and even US could have been very different.

I scroll 9gag for the memes, shits and giggles.
That being said, 9gag has turned into a site and app for misinformation and information for the past 8 years. Rather sad really.

It is interesting that sometimes we get news on 9gag before MSN even report it.
9gag to me is perhaps one of the last mainstream bastion of unfettered speech. The direction of how Geo Politics is moving can be blatantly observe in that particular meme site.

Just to let you know, for the past 2 to 3 months, the blatant and unbridled attack on the Jewish community have reached heights that have never been seen before on 9gag. Something is happening.

Before the attack on the Jewish community, it was all about Russian invasion with the Ukrobots doing propaganda 24/7. But that has subsided for the past 3 months.
And before that it was the Chinese because of Covid and Hong Kong Protest.

And before the Russian invasion, 9gag is filled with support and unwavering praise for Russia and Putin and please take that in mind that the love for Putin from all over the world lasted since the Crimea Crisis all the way up till Ukraine invasion.

I don't really like looking too deep down the rabbit hole. Personally, I stay away from the internet underbelly. I never browsed those type of forums but IMO between feds lurking and so much disinformation/nonsense out there i try to keep a distance. I settled on Twitter, I think it's relatively a good balance of actual news without getting much of the weird conspiracy/jews are responsible for everything bad/lizard people nonsense you may find in some of those other places.

The scary part is when the FEDs single people out and start to make contact with warnings. I am not sure if that is the case in the United States if you are not following the governmental script.
That doesn't sound very different from China or any other authoritarian country doesn't it ?
