he is still beating on about Ruscim. I mean the wiki page on this, the first link, highlights that this is an idea fermented by racists. it blows my mind. it is literally dehumanizing and he is utterly unrepentant when he champions it. I highlighted this repeatedly and gave up on pointing this out when he just went on and on about it.

also its 24 hours later so i will just say, someone mentioned "illegal coup", my response is: this is a misnomer. there is nothing legal about any coup, by definition. :)

yes, pedantic haha.

It really is dehumanizing, it's definitely just an invented term to slander and dehumanize all Russians. It really is meaningless and is just intellectually lazy.

Haha that is true about coups.. though people really need to understand that any coup is illegal and unconstitutional but people love to ignore this

Is there such a thing called legal coup.

I think what Putin wants and it is an important part of the equation, is to solidify his legacy in Russian history.
People perish. Legacy last for a long time be it a good thing or a bad thing.

I totally agree. Putin wants to go down in the annals of history as the Great Saviour of the Russian nation against Western aggression & degeneracy. On this matter if he is successful in restoring the monarchy he would have a legacy on the level of Francisco Franco, even more revered than monarchs. Though his goals and this are not mutually exclusive

Sometimes when your coffers are so filled up to the brim and overflowing. You have nothing else to achieve but that.
That being said it is only convenient that you are doing it out of the love of your country, people , race and religion since you are at the right place at the right time.

We cannot deny that doing it for the security and the interest of your country is not in your motives as noble as it sounds. But above all, that is just the basic instinct of human beings as primitive , primordial and primeval as it sounds.

The three Ps

It is very odd how a certain country has normalised coups, and there is no protest in the western world re: same, especially when noting that it espouses freedom, democracy and all those other funny words. its a bit like the wild fires in hawaii, yes yes, all over the news, but wild fires have been in africa for years but western media does not care and does not report.

basically different strokes different folks. not a fan of this whole rules for thee but not for me, you cant attack but we can, terrible things happening in the west, we dont care if they happen elsewhere.

I can give you an answer to this.

The same reason why when there is Muslim based terrorist attacks or the Drama that EU is facing now due to a huge influx of Muslim Engineers and Doctors. Major Muslim countries like i.e Indonesia etc etc so on and so forth they don't come out and protest against their own.

Sure, now and then there will be some rational Muslim scholars from said countries who come out to criticize, call for calm and strongly reject against such acts. These will be televised on social media and maybe even national television to give an impression they are doing there job.

But that is about as much as they will do. Those that send out a tiny force to support the West are merely doing it because their ruling power might be compromised if they don't. Not that the West will regime change them, but those extremist will take over their country if they don't do something.

Which scholars though? I'm going to guess only Western and US-allied scholars. Forced russification and the like are similar to what fascists do but are not exclusive to fascism.

I strongly believe that Putin wants to restore the Russian monarchy. I believe to achieve this Putin wants & is currently in favour of an autocratic regime to first restore the Russian sphere of influence somewhere similar to where it was during the Soviet Union before undergoing an official transition back to the Tsardom. He can achieve this by force & the threat of nuclear weapons, while grinding out his opponents in long wars where Russia historically has had the advantage and have been successful in.

However, I'm not sure what his plan is for the monarch since Lenin and the Bolsheviks were so thorough in completely eradicating the Russian royal family along with all of their relatives and extended relatives. I however do not think he would ever want to install himself as the Tsar but maybe someone he is close to.

Russians today are very traditional conservatives who revere the Orthodox church - Fascism is a modernist ideology that explicitly rejects conservatism, and this is most certainly not true of the majority of Russians. To call them fascist is just a gross mischaracterization of the ideology of fascism. Putin is closer to Francisco Franco imo - there's alot of alignment with fascism but the ideology itself is rejected in favour of traditional conservative institutions.

One of the greatest tragedies indeed of the Bolshevik revolution was the near complete destruction of Russian high culture & intellectualism - I believe Putin does want to restore this along with the traditional Tsardom. The Russians overwhelming do not support the Western-style liberal democracy of the Russian Federation how it currently exists/existed in the recent past

Such a pity how you can invent yourself that i am racist or whatever equivalent delirious claim and then that "RUSCIST" is a deshumanizing word ?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruscism
"
This article is about the contemporary syncretic state ideology of Russia under Vladimir Putin. For the 1930–1940s Russian fascism, see Russian Fascist Party. For the political ideology of Vladimir Putin, see Putinism.
Not to be confused with Racism or Russianism.
"
The artciles explains it clearly: exactly like i posted: it's a mix of Russian and Fascism, it's complexe.

Buy yourself a dignity and try to read and understand what Ruscism is, also check out:
- Russification

- Russanism

Can't you understand this ? Well this is dramatic, and it's your problem. Exactly like the "2014 coup"...

I just want to share with you in regards to any response you might have.

And it is a quote by one of the Greatest 19th Century Irish Poet, writer and intellectual the world have seen.

There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.

Yes, the people who say "Russia is winning" are ignoring the colossal cost incurred on the Russian economy. But the opposite is certainly true, this conflict has placed enormous stress on Ukraine, such that they certainly cannot win and are going to need to negotiate a peaceful end to this conflict.

Wrong. Russia saved it's economy by divorcing itself from the US dollar. As the US prepared Ukraine for Russia after 2014 the Russians prepared Russia for the US. It was wildly successful and the Russian economy did not collapse after the mass dogpile of sanctions. Russia even went a step further and partnered with other nations to create a competitor to the US dollar as a global currency, which will have huge and increasing impacts as time goes on and the US dollar loses power and influence.

This is not to say Russia hasn't suffered at all, but then neither has anyone in NATO avoided suffering as much as Russia has. Thousands of Western companies lost billions of dollars, everyone in the West is paying more for energy and food than they used to be.

Russia is winning on multiple fronts. Only the self deluded can claim otherwise.
