How does US "supports" him? Did he immigrate to US and apply for welfare?
Jamal Khashoggi was a columnist for the Washington Post ( a US media outlet ) and was assassinated by the Saudi Government at the best of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman noting Jamal was a vocal critic of the Saudi Government. In 2018 Jamal Khashoggi was named Time's person of the year (another US publication). An audio of his gruesome death made its way onto the internet. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is an ally of the US government and therefore the US gave him a little slap on the back of his hand and presumably asked him not to get caught next time. In the meantime the US continues to provide weapons to Saudi Arabia.
