i.e. I commented on the dangers of using dehumanizing language, He responded by trying to deflect my point, I called him out for dodging and he then said that I was dodging. These mental gymnastic's on his part are amazing.

Because he couldn't cope with reality. Reality is the world is changing , polarity is shifting. It's similar to how some Manchester United Fans couldn't cope after Sir Alex left with City wining multiple championships and Liverpool getting another PL title edging closer to the record that United once held.
Similarly speaking, Liverpool fans couldn't cope in the 90s and 2000s when United were marauding through the Premier League.

keep lying to your imaginary audience, pootin apologist. you literally replied to a post in which i debunked the narrative that "the west" somehow started this war ( https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=92094408&f=119&p=649807348 ), when it was russia - as you had to admit yourself. you then clutched your pearls about calling a murderous dictator "pootin", and his murdering invaders "orcs" (something i personally don't even do most of the time, i've used that expression maybe once)...

if you're genuinely not intelligent enough to distinguish between using a slur to discriminate against a whole race / ethnicity / nationality in general, and using a slur to insult murderers and rapists, you should not be posting here. but i have a feeling that you DO know the difference, and that you are just too dishonest to acknowledge it, because it would completely obliterate your attempt to portray invaders, murderers, rapists, and torturers as victims. but hey, keep twisting yourself into a pretzel in order to downplay the suffering pootin is inflicting on the world and ukraine in particular...

Russian soldiers are people, not "orcs" or whatever other dehumanizing term you want to call them. That doesn't mean they are victims.

He has no concept that the military or at least most of the military doesn't have the choice but to follow orders.
If a military of a nation refuses orders just because of a moral concept that they hold. That country will be demolished within a week.

Although that being said, time and time again we will have some commanders that makes noble decisions that will prevent horrendous civilian casualties which is something we should be proud, thankful and relief of.
I don't think he served in his national defense before or at all. So it is hard for him to grasp the concept.

The tragedy of wars and conflicts is always being started by irresponsible politicians and hawks on both ends. That is the reality of life and the citizens of those nations end up bearing the brunt of the consequences.

oh, you can refuse to call them "orcs", that is perfectly fine, i don't think anyone has a problem with that. i don't usually call them that myself, but that is not at all the point. the point is that people falsely claim the term "orcs" is used in a racist way, to discriminate against all russians, just like the nazis de-humanised all jews - and that is simply not true. as far as i can tell, people here exclusively use it to describe invaders, murderers, rapists, and torturers.

show me someone who uses it against all russians, and i will happily agree with you they are in the wrong. you can't though, just like ferdia and all the other pootin apologists couldn't do that. it's just pearl clutching from people sympathetic to the russian cause, trying to downplay the suffering those invaders, murderers, and rapists cause in ukraine.
