zelensky was picked from a pot, a puppet who became something more. He is also not hell bent on world conquest. he is also not supremacist, therefore based on the key drivers and roots of hitler there is no real comparison. analogies to ww2 and germany are misguided relating to his current conflict.

you might want to read some history books relating to ww2. ww2, its origins and drivers have been extensively documented in print, audio and visual format.

whether there are elections in ukraine or not is irrelevant right now in the eyes of the western world. ukraine, and the west have spun a tale (and are shaping it into reality) where ukraine is in a war for survival. in such a scenario, and when noting ukraine is ultra nationalist, I really dont understand the hang up about elections. i mean either way the elections will be tampered with by the US so really, there is no need to bother you know ?

finally, i am quite nationalist, but ukraine is a good reminder to ultra nationalists in my country as to why we should not look for a border pole in northern ireland. much better to wait a decade or two. by all accounts the loyalists are being bred out or emigrating, ergo it wont be long before reunification is a forgone conclusion. to do so now would result in violence, albeit not as bad as in ukraine. its like going on a date, dont be too eager because you might end up left in the dirt.

we previously commented on georgia, they too were invited into the western fold but they looked at ukraine and the mad adventure that country has taken and said "no thanks". sensible. a good leader should not be trying to reduce his population by half and his country by 1/3rd.

Zelensky was in the advanced stages of a negotiated a peace deal with Russia last year and the West told him in no uncertain terms that if he signed the peace deal the west would no longer help him. that does not sound like dictator to me, it sounds more like a guy that was taken for a ride. the analogy I would use here is that he went to the casino, he was told it was easy to win, he took out his life savings, lost it all, and now is borrowing more and more money from shady characters to try to win all his money (and more) back, he is using other peoples homes and lives as collator but he does not even know how to play the game and is doomed to lose it all.

he is not getting armor and weapons from the west, he is PAYING for all of it and it will take 100 years for ukraine to pay it back. He is a brilliant figurehead for ukraine when instead ukraine needed someone not hell bent on destroying their own country.

tldr he is not a dictator, yet.
