There have been tens of thousands of incidents of antifa pepper spraying right wing rally goers in the past few years. Imagine if every one of those responded with a shot to the head.

from a point of law its unambiguous. There was no serious threat present that would justify a lethal response by a reasonable person. No reason for him to fear death or serious injury. We've been showered in a dozen recent stories of people defending themselves in grey areas of whether its reasonable- mobs surrounding cars, unarmed men pummeling people or grappling for guns- and this isnt one of them.

I strongly disagree with that. The "security guard" feared for his life and the dead man used a deadly weapon. All of us would have done the same thing I think because we're not willing to gamble with our lives.

There's a very easy way around this. Don't be the first person to pull out a weapon.

what kind of security guard acts like that and then pulls a gun to defend his client. the whole thing stinks of foul play

it's not reasonable self defence to antagonize protesters and grab at them especially when you are supposed to be a security guard
