Africa as a continent is sliding into a crisis. Inflation + increased food prices are going to be the next ticking time bomb to go off. Breaking off the grain deal made matters way worse. Africans are openly hostile towards the west now. China is trying to sway western puppet regimes with the help of Russia/Wagner and infrastructure projects their way.

Deserves its own thread but Africa is becoming the next geopolitical tug of war between west and east with the west losing hold of places that historically have always been theirs. What’s happening in Niger is very interesting.

They supply a notable amount of uranium to Europe and have some of the highest grade ore in the world. About 15% of Frances needs are sourced from Niger.

Algerias military chief came to Russia today I wonder if this is in anyway tied to the Niger thing?

its confirmed that very little of the grain from the grain deal is even going there

africa is powder keg regardless of the ukraine conflict, multiple failed states, civil wars, genocide/ethnic cleansings

the overpopulation problem is growing every day

them being tired of getting bullied by the west would be a good sign, if they were not selling out to china instead

That is what Africa gets for not siding with USA and allowing China + Russia to invest in it's region.

If a country chooses not to side with the worlds only super power, they will be destabilized.

They were never exactly stabilized in the First place regardless of whether is it USA / Russia or China.
All Sub Sahara African countries are extraction economies.

That's right, oil , minerals , rare earths etc etc etc.
What we are looking at now and if I may put it in my own words is not about Africa siding with China / Russia or whatsoever.

Africa never stood a chance in standing up for themselves and more so during the past 30 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
The United States was the sole superpower with no equals.

Some of them are "revolting " against the West now, because they see a glimmer of hope. Not because they like " China " per say , they have a potential option, and this option even though as the narrative goes that they are considered " paper tigers " is still an option better than none.
They will use it to negotiate a better deal.

Which is also the reason why the US wants to smack down China as hard as possible so that the Chinese will never come close, so that her interest in these extraction economies will not be threaten.

this is why brics allows africa nations to be a part of it.
They're compitulating to the africans in exchange for natural resources.

edit: It''s hard to revolt against the west when terrorists of your own country are killing you.
What a fucking joke.

USA #1 get that through your head next time you respond.

Yup.....and comparatively speaking , the Chinese can give extremely cheap China made goods and products in exchange via trade to Africa as compared to those being produced in the West and United States.

This might sound Frivolous.
But I seriously doubt the average African can afford a Brand New Pair of Jordans at USD 150 compared to maybe a China made brand that cost 15 USD.

They are already revolting against the West, will they succeed , I don't know.

USA #1 , Yes for now, there is no question about it at the moment.
I respond accordingly to what is happening at the moment and how the Geo Political situation is moving.
If your intention is to put in a narrative that I will have to " Kowtow " and bow to certain response or give an opinion by bending down, changing my thoughts and narrative as to how I view the current world situation because " USA " is No.1. Then no.

This will be detrimental to any civil discourse.

It will be such an amazing forward step for humanity when your backwards hick infested nightmare country finally collapses under the immense weight of all you no neck, heavy breathing, twinky inhaling Wall-E people.

Living cartoons.

Look how mad they get at even the idea that some brown person in the world isn't their slave lol
