Dawg if they were true to their 'insurrection' cause this wouldn't be a few hour ordeal with the only victims being 1 women that got shot by a cop and a few others dying of natural causes. You'd have these people coming armed/staying there until their insurrectionist demands are met or at least voiced/trying to accomplish their goals repeatably with follow up waves/trying to find these politicians in their homes and on and on.

Why do you think that? I think you're giving your side a little too much credit here. I mean, they are so fucking stupid that they posted their actions on social media. Don't mistake failure and incompetence for lack of intent. The shoe bomber is still a terrorist even though he failed in spectacular fashion. We have VIDEO EVIDENCE of them indicating their intent ffs but you seem too scared to watch it. Perhaps their failure hits too close to home?

We have video evidence of a lot of people saying dumb things. We have have BLM protesters chanting for dead cops NOW. We obviously don't charge those people with attempted murder, nor do we suspect them of orchestrating a plot to kill police.

I suspect that if the FBI had evidence of a concrete plot to overthrow the government of the United States, that we'd have heard about it well before now. If goes without saying that people who are prepared to kill members of Congress are prepared to kill the people protecting them. And yet we have zero recorded attempts to kill a police officer. We have people arrested for fighting with cops when they had knives on them. The only guy (to my knowledge) who was arrested for having a gun wasn't even in the Capitol, but decided to walk around the grounds. A violent riot in the nation's center of government is unacceptable, and it should be condemned proportionately. But Nancy Pelosi has NYT journalists labeling 74 million people as "enemies of the state". That's incredibly dangerous stuff.

Per the military, fbi, cia, and local police forces, they had like a month’s advance notice of the attempted occupation of the capital. So uh, why were no preventative security measures taken???

They died of strokes and suicide. They weren't hit by bricks.
