Seems like people are reticent to comment. It makes me wonder how many people in PaRD are hoping that Russia is successful.
I would divide the "pro-russian" side in two groups:
- Those who are personally directly or indirectly concerned (russian family, interests, nationality...) => They would hardly admit their own bias and will prefer to bitch on U.S and the whole West, also arguing alot about "both sides"...
- The "anti-west" basically westerners themselves, which largely includes the "anti-all" alt right wing => Same, they will hardly admit to openly side with Putin's Russia ideology, and deflect on blaming non-stop on the west & nato.
In both cases, as you can see, it's pretty hard to obtain a clear position because in practice it's hazardous to defend Putin's Russia's war crimes. It's much easier to circle jerk on "Ukrainians are nazis- post 1 photo- facts" or "U.S killed alot of civilians 20 years ago in Iraq"
