He seems to have played his part in providing casus belli for internal purges within the army.

some users get triggered over words or phrases and read too much into things. I will at times try to be more clear on a position with this in mind.
there are multiple examples of users in the thread that literally fall off the deep end when they read something they dont like.

Could it be that part of the deal is staying silent? Prigozhin did have a following, at least from what i gathered. He probably also knew how he is intertwined with the Kremlin gang and i think that he knew his odds before his small adventure (yet still seemingly failed). People in Rostov seemed to be very welcoming to Wagner based on a few videos ive seen, as well.

Would make sense to have Prigozhin get not what he wanted, but something good enough to keep him satisfied considering his latest circumstances, yet still be made to know his place. He doesnt seem like the guy who really needs any publicity, but just enjoys trolling and luxury

I cant for the live of my understand the events. just an irrelevant filler episode, it remains to be seen if it changes the ending or not (probably not).

It is also often better to keep one alive than dead, to expose the submission. Especially since he submitted very publicly, and now with his silence.
I would perfectly consider the possibility of him being executed, but why he did not left Russia or Belarus ? If threatened he could also have maintained an high level of tik tok communication since his life could depends of it.

Yet I may consider the mediator position of Putin which would also:
A. Showing no merci, being reckless, but also risking an hard counter-reaction from all other elite, especially his own yes-men and allies who could turn against him / being defiant.
B. Demonstrating an hability to act moderately, to balance powers, not triggering panic through elites: Because what the russian people thinks is peanuts for them, what is important is the reaction of elites and their network.

So nope, I cannot be so sure he was or will be executed soon enough. Thus he could be, but much later or if Putin starts to be really desperate in maintaining his authority.

Because, like i explained, killing him could be a proof of weakness.
