just because you plead guilty doesnt mean you can't take a deal. people plea guilty to get a deal, or plea guilty for lenient sentencing. guilty plea doesn't mean being uncooperative inherently.

What? A plea deal and cooperation with the Special Counsel is exactly what Mueller wants.

Feels like Mueller is laying out the "why did they conspire" before the "how did they conspire".



People noted that after Cohen first pled guilty, there was no cooperation agreement. But clearly he's been cooperating, and his lawyer says he will continue to cooperate.
