Nope I've seen the Pentagon reports the US isn't even capable of defending itself right now.

Nato is being demilitarized. We're updating Russian troops in the use with news toys and combat experience in a real war.

If you have a look at US spending, while accepting that they pay too much for stuff anyway, they are still miles ahead of anyone else in terms of spending. I think meanwhile posted an accurate account of US military spending the other day. If you want to argue that the US is a lame duck then everyone else cant fly, cant swim and is not even in the pond.

Understand I am not attacking you, I am outlining that your narrative of the US is weak, is exactly what MSM wants you to say, in order to push through even more spending and "aid" to Ukraine, that they will be 100+ years paying pack in loans.

If the US cant "defend" "itself", then my argument would be, defend from what ? who is stupid enough to invade the US, the most warlike nation on the planet ? no one is capable. The US does not get invaded. it invades. thats why its navy is ringed around China. its not back at home worried of invasion.

Western society has benefitted greatly from the big brother that is the US. However by most accounts the US is not great and at the moment it is tearing itself apart with all this culture and ideology wars. Who in their right mind would be capable of harming them more then they are harming themselves? Would be great if we got a reset, a US leader that spent more time fixing America's problems then making world problems.



i presume this is sarcasm, i thought Nato countries were increasing their defense spending. I feel i am in the twilight zone at times. I do not envisage any decrease in EU military spending for the rest of the decade, its only going to go one way im afraid.

Your 2nd last paragraph is exactly why the US let itself get into such a position. The only real threats to US soil are Russia and China, neither of which are capable or even interested in such an endeavour. The US can afford to be defenceless, if it chooses to be.
And quality over quantity, both Russia and China have surpassed the US in many military technologies, also admitted to by the Pentagon.

The US has benefitted from the US. Most of the West has not. The US has consistently created new and dangerous adversaries since the end of WW2. Al Quaida and ISIS both are creations of unnecessary US meddling. Not to mention Russia who was effectively pacified and China who was lined up well to be a potential ally against Russia until the US got full of itself and decided it was godking of Earth. But more than half the world decided not to bow to US bullshit so now Russia not only still has an economy but they are superceding the US dollar in concert with a plethora of other countries who've too long been the target of US aggression. The US's time is drawing to a close. It won't be invaded or militarily crushed it will simply run out of steam.

i disagree with your opinion, but thats ok, everyone has their own opinions. The entire world, has benefited from the US in one form or another. This is impossible to refute.

Kinda hard to refute when they landed on the moon, made the first aeroplane and, to make it simple: invented lightbulbs.
