I specifically said the WARRANT was no-knock, not the raid itself. I have questions about why the police, in possession of a warrant that allowed for no-knock entry, would knock, but not announce that they were police (if Walker's claim is true that he didn't hear any verbal announcement that it was police at the door). It seems like a risk to the safety of the officers involved in the raid, if they knocked without announcing, when they legally didn't have to knock or announce, according to the warrant.
I do not contest the idea that the warrant authorized a no knock raid.
They knocked.
Its not contested by either party involved.
I don't know whether they also announced or not and I won't take walker's word for it.
It would make sense for them to announce when they pounded. He may not have heard it. That seems plausible.
1 neighbor stating they heard them announce is significant. I would not expect every neighbor on the block to hear what started off the altercation.
Your brother made several objectively false statements in defense of his new pro-riot leftism.
Its ok to admit he was wrong and correct the record.
it wasn't a no knock raid and it wasn't the wrong house.
Her name was on the warrant.
She had close connections to hard drug traffickers.
But this is getting into the weeds and aside from my original point.
I'm sure there are plenty of cases where police officers acted improperly.
Even a fully validated case of police brutality or murder doesn't excuse rioting and doesn't mean we should aid leftists in victimizing innocent people and disrupting society in the pursuit of an anti-capitalist agenda.
The reality that so many facts were botched and misrepresented supports my position that this rioting doesn't hinge on a careful analysis of facts and justice and sensible reform.
