Leave the philosophy to ferdia.
Fact 1:
"Legend states that three brothers, Kyi, Shchek and Khoryv, and their sister Lybid, founded the city. Kyiv thus takes its name from Kyi, the eldest brother. The exact century of the city's foundation has not been determined. Legend has it that Saint Andrew (d. AD 60/70) prophesied the emergence of a great city on the future location of Kyiv. He was allegedly fascinated by the spectacular location on the hilly shores of the Dnieper River."

I'd stop reading after "legend says", but you are the reader today, then you can read until St Andrew. And if you still did not believe in our Lord, then we will continue with the fact 2, if everything's kosher.
Fact 2:
The name of Ukraine likely comes from the old Slavic term for 'borderland', as does the word krajina.
Borderland of what? Khazar Khanate, Rus' Khanate? Velka Morava?
Wiki says that the history of Ukraine starts with the capture of Kyiv, funny. It must be Ukrainians to capture it but if there was no Ukraine who were them?
Fact 3:
If you buy something then you own it? Right? Google.Translate. Ukrainian to English.

I may or may not share these views, but these are bare facts.

The purchase of Kyiv is the payment by the Moscow kingdom of the Polish - Lithuanian Commonwealth of 146,000 rubles under the Polish-Moscow agreement as part of the "Eternal Peace" of 1686, as a result of which the Polish side officially recognized the seizure of Kyiv by Muscovy .

Sounds like a bribe to pay off a fait accompli seizure.

Is there a way to sort out by who’s posting? Hate reading through trash posting to get to 1 or 2 decent comments.

How dare you call Ukrainian history a local legend :)
And I have not yet mentioned about the site of ancient man in the area of Kyiv 20,000 years ago. People before places, you say? Paleo-nazi genociders of Neanderthals.

My favorite part of history was when the British, French and Spanish liberated the America's from the indigenous occupation.

Someone made a post blocker before, where you can add people to the block list thus hiding their posts. I've not used it before though, personally.

Dedollarization is now added by gold retrieval of central banks. More and more countries don't want their gold stored in fed or London.
Again, freezing assets have been the biggest own goal of this war so far. Reduction of future investment in the US/EU is also projected in near future because assets there can be frozen anytime whenever a country is deemed an enemy.

Most of the worlds wealth is generated by countries we dont see eye to eye with. As soon as we started weaponizing the global banking system, every investor, oligarch and banker in Africa, Asia, South America, the pacific islands- all took note. Nothing in post WW2 history has even put a dent in the hegemony of the petrodollar as a reserve currency but now Joe Biden has fully ruptured it.

In a year or two this war will be over but its effects wont. We dont have the clout to boss around the world anymore and they don't have the reason to trust us.
