On the night of July 5, Ukraine is going to attack the ZNPP using high-precision weapons and kamikaze drones. Renat Karchaa, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern, stated this.

UPD. He also stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would hit the Zaporizhzhya NPP with a Tochka-U with a warhead "stuffed" with nuclear waste.

"Russia has lost nearly half the combat effectiveness of its army," Radakin said, according to the Financial Times. "Last year it fired 10 million artillery shells but at best can produce 1 million shells a year. It has lost 2,500 tanks and at best can produce 200 [new] tanks a year."

I'm reading this also, Ukraine claim there are mines on the roofs etc , there is no evidence for this , "they just know" its really despicable to blow up a nuclear power plant, the amount of aid Ukraine will receive will dwarf any current aid given.

Its unlikely Russia would do such a thing as its against international law and would provoke other country's to intervene, it would surely be the end for russia and they know it, why would they destroy/iradiate the land they intend to keep?

An ex-general was interviewed by ZDF (German version of CNN) about the status of the counter-offensive. Key points:
- The problems lie with the Ukrainian side this time around because Russia has been well prepared with everything possible and they didn't repeat the mistakes they did last year
- Ukrainian army has committed one third of its strategical reserves so far, they still hold back two third just in case an opportunity opens up for a majour breakthrough
- the long term aim of liberating eastern Ukraine and Crimea from Russian forces isn't realistically feasible anymore unless something goes wrong inner politically in Russia itself

Zelenskyy adviser Mykhailo Podolyak told Ukrainian television that Grossi had proved ineffective in trying to uphold safety at the plant. "Any disaster at Zaporizhzhia could have been prevented if [Grossi had been] clear straight away," Podolyak said, accusing the IAEA of flipflopping in its approach to the problem.

I don't know what Zelensky and his people want from IAEA. They wanted them to double check. They went in in person and documented no mines inside the facility.

There is simply no rationale for Russia to blow up a nuclear power plant.
There is a simple rationale for Ukraine to blow up a nuclear power plant.

Does anyone want to refute ?

Olaf Scholz retirated again in Romania with the Romanian PM today: no Nato membership for Ukraine unless the ongoing border conflict is solved. Germany's position is usually USA's position as well.
Also, Stoltenberg was elected again against a British candidate who helped Ukraine "too much" by not following orders prooperly.

Brexit is the gift that keeps on giving, i.e. having removed themselves from europe and with a small army, england is now less relevant. They are no longer the "glue" that can bring the EU together.

for context:

How do you see a nuclear plant's explosion? It's not going to appear as a fancy nuclear mushroom.
