but looking at the facts, Russia has shown no intention to attack Poland. Look at the map, they are clear on what they want. if they wanted more of ukraine the war would have been waged differently. if they wanted to invade a nato country the position and sounds would have been very different. this entire story of ukraine first poland / germany next is just a fairy tale.

russia has been very careful with this war, this is a fact that the west is simply ignoring. russia does not want to escalate (but will if forced, noting they see ukraine in nato as an existential threat). surely i am not the only one of this view ?

wdym? i already hinted at a fair solution: russia withdraws from all ukrainian territory immediately, gets to foil the evil western plan of waging a forever war and crippling the russian military, and ukraine promises not to take retaliatory action against russia. the west and russia slowly try to rebuild diplomatic relations. russia will have lost no territory despite invading a sovereign country, while ukraine and the whole world suffered immense damage to their economies by russia's warmongering, but won't seek compensation. don't tell me that's not a generous offer.

Nope, you intervene. Your position is NATO intervention, then don't beat around the bush and call the kid by its name.You want a Nato intervention in Ukraine because just by insulting Russia or playing internet keyboard warrior Russia isn't going to retreat.

Nato made a gamble and were caught pants down. If Russia realizes, Nato can't fight Russia conventionally, they're going to attack Poland. That's how geopolitics work. People in power want even more power at all costs.

In my opinion, we need to somehow achieve peace for the next 5 years to strengthen Nato during that time.

Your solution is bullshit and not feasible. Your solution can only be achieved by a direct Nato intervention. There is nothing diplomatic about an intervention.

Do you want Russian troops out of Ukraine and peace in Ukraine? Then you plead for a NATO intervention. No other way, Russia is going to abandon Ukraine otherwise.

ukraine is losing on the battlefield and they aint getting crimea or the currently occupied eastern portion back
