I’ve been to China and Russia and have many friends there. I also speak Russian and can judge a lot better what’s really happening and how laws work.



I’ve recently seen a video where a poor Ukranian soldier jumped out of Bradley to help his wounded friends. He landed straight on an antipersonnel mine. He will never walk again.

Why do you cheer for war Pierre? War is bad. We should find a way to stop it.

He gave out about Snowden reporting on the US and asked why Snowden did not report on Russia. Duh, because his expertise was the West. Meanwhile's arguments and logic is flawed. He cherry picks his position and does not dwell on the stuff he does not agree with or understand. This is not an exclusive trait, we are all like this to a degree but most normal people would simply say "i dont know", instead we get silence. I still cant get over that he uses video's to cement his position, without having watched said video's (which have at times undermined his position). Its baffling. I gave up commenting on his racist posts.

Probably, some glorified arsenal against Irak when the regime was still in power. I guess 20-30y old scraps but better than nothing for them.

I didn't say Chinese/ Russian system is better (it's not!). I highlighted our western problems because we live here. If everything goes down the drain, we'll do as well. Francois, our countries (UK, Ger, FR) can't let US protect us anymore while giving the US influence about decision making in EU. The US is financially overstretched and is going to implode at home at some point unless they retreat form half of the globe and let the partners defend themselves while having less influence. The EU on the other hand has to get its act ASAP:
1. own army with centralized chain of command
2. economical autonomy from a single supplier (diversifying supply chains).

If we don't, we'll be a ball played between China, USA or whoever is going to become a super power. I see this war as a wakeup call for our leaders. NATO as the US alone is finished. Partners have to arm up.

There's no more ball played if Russia is liberated, finishing russian agression in EU asap is the only way, or our best chance.

I don't care about what Putin envisions. I prefer to decide my fate myself which means paying the price for the independence. I don't want my daughter to be a maid in China or USA with an university degree in near future.

There is no “Russian aggression in the EU”. Russian influence at best which EU should be strong enough to resist. It is totally natural to be influenced by your neighbours. Russia is influenced by the EU, EU is influenced by Russia. Nothing to be afraid of unless you are a cowardly bigot trying to hide your true emotions with racist remarks. They are orcs and barbarians anyway right, why would anyone side with them? /s

Russia attacked Ukraine. Ukraine is not part of the EU and nobody wanted them here. Netherlands has voted overwhelmingly not to associate with Ukraine when asked. Things might have changed now somewhat, but people are acting on emotions. Ukraine is decades away from fixing their institutionalized corruption and economics to be able to qualify to join EU. Zelenskyy just cancelled elections. How’s that for freedom and democracy?

The only two attacks on the EU in the past year were both by Ukrainians. Somebody blew up the Nord Stream (which is a direct act of war against Germany) and evidence points at Ukrainians. Ukrainians also “accidentally” shot an air defense missile into Poland and blew up some people there.

Are you invoking NATO Article 5 against Ukraine pierre? Why not?

Perhaps you want to tell us what’s happening in Nanterre? Something very exciting maybe?
