You understand what it all boils down to fenderp, stop playing the forum idiot. What I said is all very relevant and posting shit excuses like crying "whataboutism" or "those countries wanted it" go strait to the trash bin.
If the US / the West plays it like that and insist on having a sphere of influence right up to Russian border and keep expanding that sphere of influence at the cost of Russia (main adversary for the past 8 decades or so) then how are you going to tell Russia that they're not allowed to have a sphere of influence on their frikkin border or not react to the next NATO expansion that aims to reel in Ukraine with all issues involved (ethnic Russian minority / Crimea, Sevastopol)...
But you KNOW all of this, you're simply a dishonest NATO shill, keep licking that leather...
who says i think russia is not "allowed" to have a sphere of influence? what about belarus? it's basically a russian puppet state. if russia had good "arguments" to convince its neighbours to remain in its sphere of influence, and those countries decided they WANT to remain in it, i'd be the last person to oppose their people's will.
that's not the situation though. russia has repeatedly oppressed and invaded former warsaw pact allies, has basically nothing of worth to offer, and almost exclusively relies on its military strength in order to negotiate. that's been a losing strategy for decades. you posted the map enough here to realise that.
ukraine is a sovereign country. the world, including russia, agreed to that back in the 90s. murdering civilians in order to conquer sovereign countries that you want in your sphere of influence is bad, mkay? not my fault that you're not smart enough to understand that.
had russia approached them with economic / ideological / historical arguments and convinced them, had the ukrainian people decided for themselves that their future is on russia's side, fair enough, their decision. but ukraine chose prosperity and freedom over dictatorship and destitution, and you should respect that, not root for their murdering by pootin's soldiers.
