In other news lads, it looks like this man killed himself after having his self defense ruling being overturned, and was currently in the process to being charged. Terrible. I have to look more into the case but it sounded like a legitimate case of self defense, based on what I briefly read and saw based on video evidence.


I don't want to comment a ton on it until I do more research but based on what I've heard it sounds like a case of Morality policing.

I believe a mob demanded the man be charged, he lost everything, his business, his job, received death threats, had to move. And was later then issued a warrant for his arrest.

Tragedy.

Followed the case. Gardner was helping to defend a business and interceded when rioters tried to burn it down. Rioters violently attacked him. When he picked himself off the ground, he raised his shirt to show he was carrying concealed, and drew his weapon, keeping it pointed to the ground. Scurlock tackles him and puts him in a chokehold, endangering his life. He fires not one but 2 warning shots in the air. Scurlock continues attempting to kill him, so Gardner shoots him.

It was ruled a valid case of self-defense almost immediately. Then, after more and more rioting, it was tossed to a grand jury to overturn "if they wanted to" which they obviously did. Now he's dead. For defending himself.

The same filth that claim that the only answer is to defund or completely remove police are those who demanded this man pay for defending himself when there were no police to be found.

If there are no police to defend you, and if you can't defend yourself, what's the fucking point? Do we just throw everyone in jail for absolutely nothing? Everyone can live in a padded cell, maybe some genius can make some robots or something to keep us fed.

RIP. Guy wasn't a "hero" in this case. Merely a good citizen, who did everything he could to defend his community, and when faced with adversity, did everything he could to avoid violence until it became a life or death scenario. And thanks to the mob mentality of the communist "progressive" left, was looking at such severe consequences for defending his own life that it was no longer a life worth living.

Great job, progressives. This is the world you want to build.
