Ukraine wasn't going to join NATO when there was an active military conflict and Crimea was still in dispute. Ukraine could talk all they want but it just wasn't going to happen.

After watching events unfold over the past month, I'm not convinced that North China has "good troops." As you know, North Chinese culture is built on cheating and they simply don't value life like we do. There's no culture of accountability there and you're constantly forced to kick the can down the road because that's the path of least resistance. There's a reason why you immigrated to America: you knew that many Slavic countries are inescapable shitholes and that North Chinese culture will never allow the vast majority of them to succeed.

There's just so much corruption and so many people skimming from the top that it shouldn't surprise us to see North Chinese soldiers ill-equipped. It shouldn't surprise us that a significant portion of the commanders have no idea wtf they are doing. I honestly feel bad for the soldiers who aren't engaged in war crimes and are just trying to make it. If I were Putin, I'd have a great purge and start executing the corrupt defense contractors, FSB agents, and members of the military. It's the only way for North China to become Russia again.

It doesn't matter how many times people repeat this when it's evident Ukraine joining was only a matter of time. If what you say is true, we could have literally created some sort of treatise with them saying Ukraine won't join, instead this is what Stoltenberg was saying a half a year ago.

Quote
On 21 February 2019, the Constitution of Ukraine was amended, the norms on the strategic course of Ukraine for membership in the European Union and NATO are enshrined in the preamble of the Basic Law, three articles and transitional provisions.[9][10]

At the June 2021 Brussels Summit, NATO leaders reiterated the decision taken at the 2008 Bucharest Summit that Ukraine would become a member of the Alliance with the MAP as an integral part of the process and Ukraine's right to determine its future and foreign policy, of course without outside interference.[11] NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also stressed that Russia will not be able to veto Ukraine's accession to NATO "as we will not return to the era of spheres of interest, when large countries decide what smaller ones should do."[12]

That's the point though: it is the invader who has to win battles to win the war. For the defender (Ukraine), it is enough to not lose them.

If you haven't noticed, Russia and DPR/LPR forces have liberated some 90-95% of the declared territory of the Luhansk People's Republic and about 50-55% of the Donetsk People's Republic's territories from Ukraine.

At this moment they are preparing a phase-2 op which will liberate the remaining 45-50% of the DPR territory which is still occupied by Ukrainian soldiers and the 5-10% of LPR which is not yet taken.

On top of that, mopping up operations are being carried out in Mariupol as we speak where some ~14,000 Azov fighters have been eliminated despite taking human shields and using every deplorable terrorist tactic imaginable.

If all you listen to is mainstream media or mainstream media-affiliated sources, you would have no idea Russia is taking territory anywhere.

I've seen the pictures of Ukrainian cities after the Russians have "liberated" them. Thanks, but no thanks.

Also, who are you trying to fool? The Russia-aligned separatists in Donbass already controlled about 90% of the Luhansk oblast and 50% of the Donetsk oblast before the outbreak of this war. In reality, they have barely gained any territory in Donbass so far. You're trying to deflect from the fact that the full-scale invasion of Ukraine was an abject failure and Russia already had to drastically tone down its mission statement... and even this deflection is pathetic in its own right.

It was estimated that there were ~14,000 Ukrainian soldiers defending Mariupol, at-least half of which were Azov.

Just playing your stupid semantics game again, I see.

How does it feel to have sided with Neo-Nazi's responsible for killing thousands of innocent people LONG before Russia ever touched Ukraine?

I suppose it's nothing new for a US service member, though. After-all, the US military also sided with ISIS and Al-Qaeda in Syria, and is still occupying the country to this day, training hardcore terrorists at the Al-tanf base while slowly starving out millions of more people by occupying the Eastern regions which hold all the food and oil.

To be in the US military and not have a problem with what your country does to places like Syria and Ukraine and Libya I can only presume that you must constantly maintain a non-stop state of willful ignorance.

See map here: https://dxczjjuegupb.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Map-on-April-first-864x400_c.jpg

Sadly you're just regurgitating CNN-level delusions and clearly you have no clue about the SMO in Ukraine or how it's actually going.

If you care to know the actual truth (although I doubt it, since you're clearly one of the types who prefers the comfort of the propaganda about how Russia is weak), then take a good hard look at that map. The section of the country that is inside the yellow circle is where the Donbass battalion Ukrainian soldiers, comprising some 60-80 thousand Ukrainian troops are encircled and will eventually be completely wiped out.

All those Russian troops that withdrew from around Kiev are being redeployed to that encircled section on the map to assist with the destruction of all of the Ukrainian army's Donbass grouping.

There is no amount of propaganda on Earth that can cover up the loss of 60-80 thousand of Ukraine's best and most battle hardened soldiers, along with all the territory they hold. It's better for you if you realize what's happening now rather than act all surprised later.

Do you even know how large a battalion is?

Lol, I'm being lectured on siding with neo-Nazis by a guy whose boss sent Nazis to kill his enemies. You can't make this shit up.
