Would I die? I suspect not, because my arteries aren't clogged and I don't habitually abuse hard drugs.

It would be a lot easier for all of us if Floyd was in great health and clearly died because Chauvin choked him to death. But that doesn't seem to be the case. The state can still prove manslaughter/murder, but they'll need to work much harder for it.

None of that shit matters, fact is the cops held him down for 3 more minutes AFTER HE STOPPED BREATHING while literal DOCTORS wanted to save him.
They were LITERALLY TOLD HE WOULD DIE.
This is not some "Oh no we held him down too long and he died, our bad but we had no idea this could happen" this was "What the fuck do these trained medical professionals know? I had 6 weeks of training in standing on peoples necks!"

Among other things, it claimed that Floyd was in "great health" and that drugs had "no impact" on his death. Interesting things to claim given that they did not have access to the relevant tissue samples and hadn't looked at a toxicology report.

They were hired by the family lawyer to produce a result. They produced it. The credibility is low.

Yes and I see what you are saying. But all I’m going to say is what does the state worker have to fear if he made the same claims as the private autopsy? The cops aren’t going to arrest and beat his ass. If anything he just put a huge target on his back for all the emotionally fueled, media confused leftists. Those are the people who are going to go to his house and try to harm him. At least, that’s what I would be afraid of, and they’ve been targeting homes of politicians recently etc, I don’t think it’s a far fetched thought.

He works with the police as part of his day job. Not hard to see how that's a massive conflict right there. I also believe he's an appointed position, but it probalby depends on the city, so his job doing that may well be on the line if he gives... ahem... unfavorable reports too often.

Hi, i have a lot of experience with overdoses from 8 years in the club scene.. Which of these situations do you think has a better chance of saving floyds life?
A ) Put your knee on his neck and ignore literal doctors telling you he would die until he died 3 minutes after he passed out and stopped breathing.
B ) Get him medical help.

I have gone with b in every situation that i ever came across and have never seen someone die from an overdose in my presence.

Ambulance was called and you can’t trust randoms on the street who say they are doctors without fear of lawsuit.

Guess we should just never trust anything a state worker says ever again because there must be an underlying reason they say what they say. 🤔

Great response my republican brother! If your wife ends up having a car accident in the middle of nowhere do NOT trust whatever people that come to help and say they're medicin WITHOUT asking first the proofs of their assertion!

You’re right, people are never two faced and would never try to make a quick buck off of suing you over some bullshit ever! Never happens!

When they are being relied on to give a negative report about people they work with, I definitely think a good deal of caution should be taken.

Same with prosecutors from the same city bringing charges for police officers. Same situation.

Who are these doctors you're speaking of?

Police do not allow off-duty maybe EMTs to randomly intervene in an arrest. They call the paramedics like they're instructed to. That is the right thing to do in their situation, they are not qualified to make procedural changes up on the fly, or allow random bystanders to give medical help. Can you imagine if a bystander intervened and inadvertently killed someone? The city would be buried beneath an avalanche of lawsuits.

If Chauvin is determined to have acted improperly, he will get convicted of manslaughter. If they can demonstrate malice and a "depraved mind", they might get him for 3rd degree murder. Unintentional 2nd degree seems like a huge stretch.
