M4d cuz crooked Hunter Biden Corleone got exposed, lol

Yes I am livid. It galls me so when conservative rich boys with political connections get busted. Hate it so much. Why can't we just leave them alone to prey upon the system like good capitalists?

Not necessarily. Trump could lose PA based on Philadelphia and still pull out close victories in Wisconsin, Arizona, North Carolina and Florida, to win a narrow 270-268 or 269-269 victory.
(Based on how NE-2 goes. Note that in this scenario, Trump will definitely win ME-2 and Republicans are almost guaranteed to control 26+ state delegations in the contingent election in the House.)

According to 538's model, locking FL and NC for Trump and PA for Biden brings us back to square one, with Trump having a conditional win probability of 12%:
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-biden-election-map/#PA:0,FL:1,NC:1

But yes, this is of course grasping at straws like crazy. This scenario where Trump holds AZ and NC while losing PA can only materialize if black turnout surges relative to white turnout while Trump overperforms his polls with suburban whites. The opposite seems more likely: suburban whites moving away from Trump and black turnout being closer to its 2016 than its 2012 levels.

13 Circuits, 13 Justices. No compromise.

...and all it will take is killing the filibuster. Are you ready for the blowback on that one when the Republicans win the Senate the next time?

This is the PaRD BLM-like crowd. They all get together and gang up on people. Doesn't make them... right, though. :D

They are right though. Trump support in PaRD is almost universally cult of personality shit.

Supreme Court justices participating in political rallies is an abortion of liberty and justice.

You're the one who loves abortions...

Man I love how there's a major issue that every poster I value is in agreement on.

Honestly, we're at a point where I'm not convinced the Republicans will stop their shenanigans even if Dems did a full stop. I say accelerate hard and fast and crash into the wall to see how big of an explosion it makes.... if Trump wins. Otherwise we'll go back to a normal government fucking everybody over until it explodes into more stimulus over and over again.

Are Obama rallies that much of a "draw" these days? I've read that his Florida rally kinda flopped the other day. Might have been a biased, right-wing source though.

lol

My wife was really mad about this for some reason. She's mostly apolitical. Her reaction surprised me. I guess RBG meant a lot to women and they wish realpolitik didn't get in the way of respecting her. But realpolitik is realpolitik. I more or less feel like getting upset about the president and his or her senate confirming a judge is about the same as getting upset that the sky is the color it is.

I suppose I was resigned to this the second I heard RBG passed, that Trump would appoint three SCOTUS justices. None of them have been stinkers.

I guess RBG and ACB represent wildly different approaches toward female emancipation. RBG had to fight tooth and nail for her position, for the career that she accomplished. ACB, by contrast, is a blueprint for a modern conservative woman: achieving job success by playing along the rules of "the system" instead of rebelling against it, all while being a devouted and fecund wife and mother. It doesnt surprise me that women who could identify with RBG's struggles are put off by ACB's vita and by what she symbolizes.

Most normal people would look at that picture, for a split second, not give two shits and move on with their life. You on the other hand are bothered by it and decide to make some 'herp derp right wing' post. Like dude that's what the internet is. People do that all over, regardless of politics, regardless of topic, setting, etc. But what can I say, for 4 years your whole existence has been to follow Trump on twitter and posting almost daily about him. Your political knowledge consists of parroting pundit lines. Keep on keeping on mate, I'm sure reading tens of thousands of tweets and telling us how you feel about right wing pictures is going to get you far in life.

Lol. The accuracy though.
