Police have been killing innocent people and claiming they feared for their lives Yet they were able to walk away unscathed.With no criminal conviction and no accountability.The mask that police are the good guys have been pulled in front of a lot of Americans.
That is not the case anymore since social media and cellphones. More and more police infractions have come to light. The thugs that killed George did it because they were comfortable with doing it. Knowing the chance of them getting in serious trouble was very slim to none in their mind because they have killed before and gotten away with it. The fact that their own coroner has tried to say he died due to heart failure and drugs reinforces that fact. That the blue line and blue shield will do what they can to protect any officer from any situation. It is the police vs the people and the police have started this war time and time again.
which is kinda what i said, that the bigger issue here is the police protecting each other. that culture is wrong. same as gangster culture is wrong, and gangster culture is FAR more to blame for keeping black people down than whites racism is. this, imo, is the biggest issue here. the protesters do indeed have what to protest about (but not loot etc) but their ire is misdirected. it shouldnt be directed at whites and large companies, it should be directed at gangs, anyone who tells them they have no hope, which leads them to joining gangs, welfare culture, rap and anything else promoting gangster lifestyle, etc. THAT is what is keeping blacks down. opportunities are there for any who want them and work to get them. my wife's father law is black and came from a poor family in chicago with nothing. he joined the army, used it to get an education, and became a lawyer. he chose to make something of himself rather than sit around bemoaning the fact that he was poor and looking for people to blame for it. if he could do that 50 years ago, anyone could do that now, too. anyone who says that opportunities are not there for blacks is full of shit, and THEY are the ones to blame.

there is a time and place for peaceful protest. while you are at work under a contract is not the time unless you are willing to risk forfeiting your job.
