Even that must still be pretty rare these days I'd think. Obviously it's a very small percentage of people that are home schooled even smaller again that mom or dad went and got an undergrad then decided they would become a stay at home parent and teach.

The other parent would have to be brining home good bacon, at least here in Canada with the huge increase in home costs, and other daily living expenses. Single income families are dying which is unfortunate because it remove choice and I have nothing against those that would want to be stay at home parents.

I don’t think if he was black, white, brown, gay is relevant to why it didn’t get national attention, when it’s ongoing you don’t know these details

When it was actively going on before identify was known it wasn’t even getting national attention

After the fact it’s obvious why it didn’t get the level of attention as others, only 1 dead child

My sympathy for any mass shooter is zero

To be clear, when trans shooters go under the radar like the case we discussed in the other thread, I find that equally wrong. Generally speaking, I don’t like shining the spot light on any of the actual shooter identities regardless if maga or black, and would rather shine the light on the victims. Media fascination with the shooter in general is not helping this ongoing problem.

Before shooter identify was revealed here, this case still had minimal attention

It did have national attention.

For a day. Because identifying the shooter was trivial.

When it became clear that the story could not be used to push the anti-2A narrative it was shut down.
