It may possibly make sense that the attacker would be inflicting heavier losses on defenders in any given war if they had the artillery superiority or air superiority or whatever to 'soften' defending targets prior. Ukraine has neither. So when some simp says we're inflicting way heavier losses on defenders that are dug in and entrenched and have been expecting an offensive for months, you have to ask by what magical powers do these defy the typical long established attacker:defender ratios.

Ukraine is fighting a losing war, because Russia cannot let them go to Nato. Western Hegemony is just as bad as Russian hegemony, how could they end the war and keep balance between superpowers?

How is Western hegemony as bad? I understand US foreign politics can be dirty, but people still flock to the West in search if a higher quality of life because the countries are well off, the social security system etc. At least until now.
