.......

It's obviously a joke making fun of illegals voting for Democrats.

It's not actually about Russia.

How on earth is that not clear.

Whether it's a joke or not, it makes no sense.

Kind of does. The narrative is that someone like Russia interfered and swayed our elections. The meme is let's prevent another interference from people who shouldn't have a say in our elections by requiring voter ID.

It's a nice troll and I would put money that plenty of dumbasses would agree and 'like' on social media simply because it has some reference to the 'muh Russia' narrative. It's a gotcha phrase why are you taking it so literalistically?

For something to be a "gotcha" phrase, it'd have to expose some sort of hypocrisy from the other side. This meme doesn't, unless you buy into a bunch of false right-wing narratives.

There's plenty of funny right-wing memes put out... this is not it.

The hypocrisy is that Democrats want to prevent interference from one threat but interference from another whether it's substantiated or not doesn't matter.

Like I said you're taking things way too literalistically. Not sure why you're so triggered by such a simple meme.

How about interference from a threat that has been proven a dozen times not to exist? And that the proposed solution for would prevent several orders of magnitude more legitimate than illigitimate votes?

And yet, the alt-right (where this meme stems from) uses something they don't give a shit about but the left does (Russian election interference) to push for something they do give a shit about but the left doesn't (voter ID). It's disingenuous, and similar to the astroturfing of #WalkAway.
