Crimea was surviving 9 years without water supply from Kherson oblast so it's not the reason. Also the Russian controlled side of Dnipro is down the river. Probably the main strike of Ukrainian counteroffensive was aimed at both Kakhovska dam and Zaporizhzhia NPP. Otherwise there's no point at all for Russians to blow the dam.

Is there any publicly available information on the water levels of dams further north?

Check the site where I got the info, but it doesn't matter. Unless it's a Kyev dam.

I doubt Ukrainians were jelly about water supply of Crimea for past 14 months. Cutting ammo supplies and making Bakhmut the only hub for such things for Russians makes sense, not the water supply, unless they are going to destroy Crimean bridge completely.

The audio part seems solid

pootin's three weeks special operation has destroyed a whole country. russians just need to pack up and go home already. ukraine is not theirs. they've done enough damage. the whole world wants russia to finally end the senseless killing, but pootin and his brainless followers keep making excuses to further escalate the conflict.

there could be peace tomorrow if pootin wanted to. we all know that. but he doesn't. he wants to conquer. he wants to slaughter. he wants to destroy. his ego is killing women and children every day. what a disgusting pos you'd have to be to root for the russian invaders and blame the victims...
