not there yet, but we're getting closer. the situation with no go zones is not as bad as in the French "banlieus", or certain quarters of London. but for example, there is an accelerating trend since about 4-5 years that police/firefighters/medics often times face attacks from locals when conducting a control or a rescue operation - and these incidents almost always happen in very "multicultural" neighborhoods *cough*.

so there are efforts in some neighborhoods with a very high share of foreign-born populaton to react aggressively to representatives of the German state, efforts to push them out of the districts they consider "theirs".
similarly, there are increasing reports about native german as well as east asian or jewish students getting mobbed in schools with a 50%++ muslim share in the notorious districts. anti-semitism is also on the rise, mostly due to the influx of muslims from countries where anti-semitic beliefs are common place.

i've got family in denmark, sweden, england and france and they're all complaining about the arrival of muslims in their neighborhood and i'm wondering why there is so little effort towards cleaning house when you've got plenty of non white minority populations on board with persecuting the offenders and expelling them.

also you should really consider meeting up with fender and discussing politics over a beer

you're joking, but I am honestly scared of the future. either there will be a civil-war like "clash of cultures" on european streets, or we will just get slowly overrun and absorbed without noticing it in time. and the worst thing about it: I dont know which of these two scenarios is more terrifying.

Most ppl that are, don't live in a more mixed culture... Do you? (at work/friends)

I live in a German city whose population is 27.6% foreigners, and another 15.5% on top of that have a migration background (at least one parent was not born in Germany and/or does not possess German citizenship). So Germans without a migration background make up just 56.9% of my city's population.

My workplace is "more German" than the average of my city, but it contains a wide range of persons with an immigration background - but well-educated, well-behaved folks. For example from Russia, France, two Americans, several Chinese folks, several Turks, and even one Pakistani. Those do not make up the majority of my coworkers, they are rather sprinkled in there, but together, they have a strong presence. And they are all super decent guys, no cultural frictions or issues whatsoever.
It's a professional environment though, everyone has at least a Masters degree.
