To put things into perspective, the most intense battle of ukraine "war" is battle for bakhmut in which a total of 20-30k deaths over 8 months.

Iran iraq war had days where 5-10k died in a single day, and in total approx 1m deaths.

Countries with 150m and 30m+ with massive amounts of weaponry killing 100-200s a day. If you consider that a geniuene "war", you aren´t historically inclined. If it grinds into a real war, your gonna have at least 3-5 million deaths at the end of it.

Can I point out something relevant to this thread? Pretending this Ukraine war has no moral implications and is simply a matter of a piece on the chessboard between major powers is completely absurd. There's no coherent justification for that view. Those who hold a viewpoint that exists in the middle are moral cowards.
